The chandelier is structured around a central crystal basket, from which multiple tiers of crystal hang in graduated layers, giving the piece its strong vertical shape.

The chandelier retains its original gas taps, visible on the arms, showing that it was originally made as a gas light or gasolier before later conversion to electricity. This is a wonderful detail that adds authenticity and speaks to the piece’s history.
