Description
A rare and beautifully made Empire-style chandelier, featuring a cascading basket of antique faceted crystal beads suspended from a gilt bronze corona. The crystals are original to the piece—cut by hand and unusually fine in quality, with a clarity and weight that’s hard to find today.
The central band is decorated with classical ribbon and wreath motifs, framing a neoclassical medallion at the base. Two scrolling side branches extend outward, each terminating in a frosted glass shade shaped like an open rose.
An exceptional chandelier in both design and materials—elegant, timeless, and increasingly difficult to come by.
