• In moulding, to provide a high surface finish and easy release from small irregularities in mould
• To repel ink, water, oil and adhesives from printing and die cutting
  operations
• In processing industries to prevent sticking in the processing equipment
  containers and conveyers
• As a release agent in food processing equipment
