Description
Mid-century Japanese black lacquer coffee table featuring a glass-covered top with inlaid hardstone figures set in a landscape scene. The design includes four robed figures, architectural elements, and a geometric border.
The apron and cabriole legs are decorated with gilt-painted dragons and foliate motifs. A well-balanced combination of lacquer, inlay, and painted detail.
Condition:
Good vintage condition. Minor surface wear and small losses to lacquer and inlay. Structurally solid.
