A dramatic Rococo-style mirror with a finely carved and pierced giltwood frame, featuring scrolling acanthus, floral ornamentation, and mythical beasts at the shoulders. The gilded surface has developed a warm patina, and the original mirror plate shows signs of age with light foxing. A rare and striking decorative piece, richly detailed and full of character.
